It’s believed that lavender first originated from the Mediterranean, the Middle East and India. Lavender derives its name from the Latin 'lavare' meaning 'to wash'. It’s part of the mint family and the first record of lavender can be traced back to more than 2,500 years ago!
There are many species of the plant (over 39) and throughout history lavender oil has been used to clean wounds and promote healing. The plant is also used to aid in easing tension with migraines.
These are handmade so they may vary in thickness by a little, they also all have a loop on the end so you can hang them up!
